For all their eternal wisdom, most proverbs do not reflect reality. But often a few minor changes can make them fit the times. Here are a few examples.

There's no place like the homey pub down the street.
Home is where the heart is. "Heart" is a combination of internet speed, cable TV offerings, and who's cooking dinner.
