Amazon.com is hitting a
number of obstacles as it works to crack the publishing business for authors it
has signed.
The Wall Street Journal looks
into some of the problems the company is having.
Among those factors, Amazon
books might not be available at national chains including Barnes & Noble,
Wal-Mart and Target, and e-books may not be available in the e-book stores run by Apple, Google, and
Sony.
