National Punctuation Day falls on Sept. 24, and Jeff Rubin, creator of the punctual holiday, wants people to pay attention to the marks that give words meaning.
Rubin, a former newspaper editor, created the day in 2004 with the aim of highlighting the importance of punctuation.
